This is a wonderful story, and beautifully shot. It says so much about the power of gratitude and giving something of yourself, not for ego, but for the humanity of giving.

Making happiness your own

By Yolaine Dupont - Date published: September 25, 2009 - Vancouver, British Columbia

What a tragic story and yet, beautiful. Daniel has managed to find the silver lining in his own life to make others happy throughout his personal struggle to regain a career. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. You are such a giving person Daniel, I wish you well.

Yes, we will!

Thanks to photographer Renaud Philippe for this spectacular photo essay on someone I would call a working poor. Here in Kitchener, ON, we have plenty of working poor, too "rich" to have access to government help, too "poor" to make a decent living. This story shows how a man is able to transcend his financial situation to reach out to others who are in an even more vulnerable situation. Thanks...
